About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Product / Digital Designer to support ongoing product and web design initiatives during February–March, with the potential to expand into a longer-term or full-time engagement. This role focuses on delivering production-ready UI/UX designs while collaborating closely with product, engineering, and project management teams.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on designer who can work independently, move quickly within an established workflow, and translate requirements into polished, usable designs.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and iterate on UI/UX solutions for web and product experiences
  • Translate requirements, wireframes, and high-level concepts into polished, user-centered designs
  • Apply and maintain consistency using existing design systems and UI patterns
  • Prepare handoff-ready assets for engineering using Figma (components, specs, annotations)
  • Collaborate with product managers and developers to clarify requirements and constraints
  • Participate in async reviews and occasional live check-ins
  • Incorporate feedback efficiently while maintaining design quality and usability standards
  • Support overflow design work, refinements, and iterative improvements
  • Update existing screens, flows, and UI components as the product evolves
  • Ensure designs align with usability and accessibility best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional experience in product, digital, or UI/UX design
  • Strong proficiency in Figma, including components, auto-layout, and variants
  • Experience designing for web applications or SaaS platforms
  • Solid understanding of UX fundamentals (user flows, hierarchy, usability)
  • Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively
  • Comfortable collaborating with distributed or near-shore teams
  • Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality, production-ready designs

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with startups or fast-moving product teams
  • Familiarity with design systems and scalable UI patterns
  • Basic product or project management awareness (priorities, dependencies, timelines)
  • Previous experience supporting fractional or overflow design roles
